.Hello everyone... what do you know about photo books? If you're interested, read on...
There are a huge amount of companies out there that produce photo books and I've tried many different over the years, varied in both price and quality, but there's a huge difference with professional books, particularly if you're looking to make the best of your photos. I mention this as I've had the pleasure recently of creating a Photo Book with Saal Digital UK, from their professional line. https://www.saal-digital.co.uk/photo-book/ As a photographer and like many i'm terrible at reproducing my own work - most of it i've never seen in print, so this was an opportunity to do just that, printing a variation of my work from over the years, some old, some new.. I chose the 30x30 book with an acrylic finish that looks and feels delightful. You can add a photo to the cover but i decided on just text. I'm delighted with the overall quality and reproduction of the photos for which I chose a matt finish - (i really struggled with this one as some of the photos are better suited to gloss, but that's a minor quibble). The layout options are varied and many - if you'd like 6 photos on a page, you can, though i went for a fairly traditional one (or sometimes 2) photos per page finish. Overall the software is easy to use and hard to get wrong, downloadable so you can save and go back to it when you wish - everything that you'll need. In short, if you're looking for a high quality finish book that clearly isn't run of the mill, then do yourselves a favour and consider this one.
